This beautiful extra large and long scarf was made after a walk in the Sydney Botanical Gardens where I picked up a few leaves fallen on the ground after a storm. It reminds me of a forest all grey in winter. The leavesare printed on very fine and soft, pure chiffon silk. Silkcraft on Etsy.

Silkwool scarf nuno felted on fine Habotai silk.
The fabric is pure fine Habotai silk and the wool is the finest, 17 micron Merino.
The wool was laid on the silk and then manipulated with the help of warm water and soap
until it all blended together in a wonderful, incredibly soft and light scarf.

Embellished with white silk fibre.
The wool was laid on the silk in an Art Deco style pattern,
