This is a highly specialized stoneware wall pocket that was made to hold an i-phone 5, 6 or 6+ or comparable cell phone near an electrical outlet for charging. They hold i-phones 5, 6, and 6+ with their cases. The images are of an i-phone 5 in an Otter case.
