small ceramic planter

This ceramic pot has been hand formed, giving it an organic feel. It’s made from a pale buff stoneware clay. The rim has been engraved with lines to give a textured effect which has been highlighted with copper carbonate.

Ceramic panter. ceramic pot.

This ceramic planter has been handmade on the wheel from stoneware clay.
The outside of the pot is engraved and decorated with with metallic oxides and a special ceramic pencil. I’ve also painted on some red dots using a red under glaze. The pot was fired twice up to 1250 degrees centigrade.
