Hand Beaded Black Silk Purse, Woodland Owl Scene, Spirally Beaded Handle

I created an original woodland scene executed in beads for the front of this unique black silk handbag. An owl image in the style of an old ornithological field guide stands in the center and I rimmed the owl in a super tiny beaded bezel. The owl’s old style contrasts the very contemporary scene.
