Butterfly lady – ceramic mask – wall hanging

A delicate porcelain mask with colorful flutterbies! I used a slump mold for the face then drew in the hair, built up the nose and lips and added the butterflies. I painted the hair and eye make-up with underglazes. After firing I glazed the butterflies and the lady’s lips. Size: 30 x 21cm/12 x 8.4″
