Basketweave-Baby-Blanket

Inspired by a sweater I realized that this open basketweave stitch would make a great baby blanket.

The pattern is written line by line and includes a chart for the basketweave pattern which repeats over 8 rows. Using only knit and purl stitches this is a great pattern for a beginner knitter
