The decals are images of a dill plant that I grew in my herb garden. My husband and I took pictures. I then took those images and turned them into iron decals which were melted into the surface in a third firing. The finished result is food, micro, oven and dishwasher safe.

Homegrown Dill Wine Cup – Pottery Tea Bowl – Yunomi

This handmade, wheel thrown, ceramic white stoneware tea bowl tumbler starts with a white base glaze and then waxed and set to dry overnight. An additional glaze is then applied over the exterior that causes great dynamic effects to take place. The effect is like antique vintage doilies in color.
