This vintage postcard, circulated in 1911, depicts the Los Angeles County Courthouse. The building was constructed in 1888 and was the sixth home of the county offices. Nicknamed the “Red Sandstone Courthouse,” it was irreparably damaged by the 1933 Long Beach earthquake and demolished in 1933.
