Spectacular Etched Emu Egg; Ukrainian egg; pysanky

Breathtaking example of design and craftsmanship! Handcrafted by me in the wax resist (batik) method on the drained shell of an emu egg. The design was created by etching to different layers of the natural shell — no dyes were used.
